Tasting NOTES

Only 1,500 cases produced

Our go to all day drinker, this Rosé of Pinot Noir captures the ease of golden hour and the quiet hum of a long, unhurried day. Pale and luminous in the glass, it opens with aromas of white nectarine, pink grapefruit, fresh strawberries and delicate rose petal. The palate is vibrant and refreshing, offering notes of watermelon, tart raspberry, and a hint of citrus zest, all carried by a crisp, mouthwatering acidity. Pair with grilled shrimp tacos with lime crema, a watermelon and feta salad, or burrata with olive oil and sea salt. Best enjoyed well chilled, in the company of friends and a setting sun.

The 2025 vintage unfolded as a dynamic and ultimately rewarding growing season. A mild even spring encouraged even flowering and strong vine growth. Summer was one of the coldest on memory resulting in slow ripening that retained acidity and freshness in the wines. Harvest was punctuated by multiple rain events that slowed ripening even further. This extended hang time allowed the grapes to develop concentrated and intense flavors at lower alcohols

Vineyard NOTES

Our Rhinefarm Rosé is crafted with fruit sourced from the Bundschu familys Regenerative Organic Certified and 165+ year-old Rhinefarm Estate Vineyard as well as our family-owned estate vineyard in northern Sonoma. The Pinot Noir grapes are primarily from Dijon clones up to 40 years old grown at Rhinefarm on the southwest slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains, just eight miles north of San Pablo Bay. The terrain below 150 ft elevation features gently sloping Huichica clay loam soils with gravel deposits and cooler growing conditions that deliver minerality and focused acidity.
